HTR Part 5 - Wednesday, June 04, 2008
Dave treasured his wife and family, as we did him. His children, their spouses and his two grandsons brought him true joy. We will always remember his quick wit, charm and devotion. Dave lived by his convictions to honor and serve God. His beliefs and passions were made manifest in his daily life. He believed in God's promise of eternal life in Heaven. Dave, you will always be in our hearts. Herald Times Reporter June 4, 2008

David Stever - Tuesday, June 03, 2008
My Brother-in-law Dave Stever was called to heaven monday morning.
I received a call from my Sister Jean around 3:00 AM telling me the news. Last night, This morning, and then all day long just seemed like a horrible dream. I can't imagine a world where Dave isn't there. I can't imagine saying Shirley without saying Dave. I can't imagine Dave not being there poking holes in my walls with his knife, answering my questions about telephony, answering my questions on business, discussing politics, picking on someone the way only Dave could, and watching him attempt to complete a project.
Since I lost my father at a young age, Dave often was a great example to me on what a man should be. Many of my ideas and the things I believe in are a direct result from Dave's influence. The world has lost one of it's great people.
